Getting started as an SAHSSA Coach or Volunteer
Coach Registration Process
To apply as a coaching candidate, you will have to create your members account in the registration system. The button below "Register as a Coach", will take you to the Volunteer Appication to register as a coaching applicant for that specific sport for the upcoming season in which registration is open.
Post Registration Coach or Volutneer Process
If you are selected as a coach or volutneer, you will be required to go through a background check. Will be at no cost to you and run automatically after selection.
In some cases, you may be required to complete specific training courses or clinics based upon your sport or age bracket. We will reach out and contact you directly if this is the case.
Coaching Requirements
Background Check
SAHSSA requires all volunteer coaches, head & assistant coaches, to complete a Background Check every two years.
Social Media & Sexual Abuse Policy
SAHSSA requires all volunteer coaches, head & assistant coaches, to read and sign off on these policies every year.
