Being able to observe a child's growth is a blessing. One young athlete may have never participated in an organized sport when they come to you, but at the end of the season, you see they are moving and playing with confidence.

Then, with their commitment along with your investment in them, they achieve their goals. While there are variables and influences to account for in a child's development outside of the time they spend with us, our role as coaches can have a profound positive impact on their life and health.

THE BENEFITS OF SPORTS FOR YOUTH

Now, more than ever, our youth need access to resources that will aid their success in sports and, more importantly, their long-term development that goes beyond the game including their faith and being Christ centered. Participation in sports plays a huge role in promoting physical activity among children.

​

Evidence states that youth who regularly participate in physical activity have increased cognitive abilities, cardiorespiratory fitness, bone density, and muscular strength. Research has also shown that they are less likely to be susceptible to depression and anxiety.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

Youth Sports Team Manager 

 

The requirements and demands can vary. Some responsibilities you can expect will include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinating with the Board Members

• Coordinating with the your Team Head Coach
• Coordinating game and training schedules
• Developing and implementing team practice and game plans
• Understanding the rules and regulations of the sport you are coaching concerning the age group you are helping
• Coordinating team bonding experiences
• Managing a team budget
• Scouting opposing teams
• Communicating with parents

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

​

Policy and standards. When working with youth athletes in a team setting, it is recommended that ALL Volunteers are certified in adult and pediatric First Aid and CPR.

 

SAHSSA requires background checks for ALL Volunteers.

(SAHSSA provides free background checks upon receiving Volunteer Application.)

SAHSSA continues to expand in tandem with our community. Each year, more children register and apply for different sports. We have some fantastic volunteer coaches whose mission is to help every child learn, enjoy, and engage in our new Programs, regardless of ability level.

3. Pass Background Check

4. Board Member Notification of approval

5. For Team Manager only our (Treasurer) will notify you with an appointment to set up your access to accounts for your team.

6. Our Communication In Chief will Send copy of Job Discription and Rules and Regulations forms.

7. Download our Chat APP via our website.

8. Become a Member on our webpage.

9. Download all nesscesary logos for use Via our website under BRAND.
